Join us at The Domain for the official Opening Concert of WorldPride 2023 as we welcome the world to Sydney. Hosted by Casey Donovan and Courtney Act, the best of Australia’s singers and musicians will get the WorldPride party started! The concert starts at 7pm, but your ticket gets you entry to The Domain from 3pm where you can enjoy the food and beverage offering on-site and pre-show entertainment. When booking, choose between the general admission area where you can BYO picnic rug or, if you like to be closer to the action, consider reserved seating. This is the global family reunion we’ve been waiting for.

Mardi Gras Parade

As the biggest event of the Sydney World Pride festival, all eyes will be on our 12,500 marchers as 200+ floats adorn Oxford Street for the first time since 2020. Expect all your Parade favorites, from the famous rumble of the Dykes on Bikes to the beloved 78ers, and the many wonders of our LGBTQIA+ communities.

Pride Villages

Oxford Street is home to the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade, and as part of World Pride celebrations, areas of this beloved LGBTQIA+ district will be the festival hub. The area will be home to daily stalls, performances, dining and a place to connect with friends and family in between World Pride events. Crown Street will be home to a stage with nightly shows and special extended entertainment on weekends. To mark the final weekend of World Pride (4-5 March), Oxford Street will be closed for a once-in-a-lifetime street party, that’s in addition to the Mardi Gras Parade on 25 February!

WorldPride Arts

WorldPride Arts will feature over 60 individual experiences from theater to contemporary art, dance, choirs, cabaret and literature. Curated by the Sydney WorldPride Creative Directors Ben Graetz and Daniel Clarke, our Festival Producer, Lisa Freshwater and team of Curatorial Associates. Made for locals and visitors alike, WorldPride Arts will be the perfect way to experience Sydney culture.
